Whats new in Ireland?
Over that last eight years, Ireland has lead its neighboring European countries as one of the most progressively developed countries in the continent of western Europe. Ireland has a strong economic base in tourism, research & development in technology and medicine. Ireland is not the economically depressed country it used to be – it is one of the most expensive places to live and visit! Ireland currency is the Euro which is much stronger than the American dollar. Approximately, $100 equals about 64 euros. You will find fabulous restaurants with world-class chefs and wonderful shopping, music and great food and wine, even in the local pubs. Ireland also became the first country to ban smoking in public places – that means the pubs! Our journey will contrast the old and the new Ireland.
