Whats New in Contact Lenses?
We take great pride in the successes we have had in fitting contact lenses. We are able to use computer assisted corneal topography measurements to identify subtle irregularities of the eyes front surface, and correct for them in the fitting process. This leads to more successful and happy contact lens wearers. There are a myriad of options available these days, especially in the design of soft disposable lenses. Everything from 1-day , to astigmatic (toric), to bifocal contacts can be used successfully by most people. Gas Permeable lens wearers also have a lot to cheer about. New designs in plastics and bifocal arrangments have allowed patients to have clear, comfortable vision throughout the day. Using our in-office lens modification and polishing instrument, we are able to make small changes in the fit relationship of the contacts that can make a world of difference in the comfort level of these lenses, and remove stubborn protein deposits at the same time.
