Whats New for the 2005 Nissan Frontier?
All new for 2005, the Nissan Frontier is larger, bolder, more powerful and more capable than its predecessor. Adapted from the Titan’s F-Alpha platform, the 2005 Nissan Frontier won’t be available as a regular cab model, leaving King Cab and Crew Cab configurations with rugged good looks and features such as a spray-in bed liner and Utili-track bed tie-down system. A new 265-horsepower, 4.0-liter V6 engine debuts with a six-speed manual transmission, and off-roaders can get a 4WD traction control system to aid in traversing slippery slopes. A larger interior promises more comfortable accommodations and a towing capacity greater than 5,500 lbs. should satisfy those with smaller trailers.Advantages of the 2005 Nissan Frontier: Award-winning V6 engineOptional stability control is unusual in this segmentSix-speed manual transmissionOff-road traction control systemReputation for durabilityRugged fully boxed steel frame constructionObjections to the 2005 Nissan Frontier: No regular cab confi
