Whats New for the 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer?
Nobody wanted a Lancer station wagon, even if it was called Sportback, so Mitsubishi kills it for 2005. Also gone is the LS trim level for the sedan. Remaining Lancer models are ES, OZ Rally, and Ralliart, and they all get free scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 45,000 miles. ES models gain standard equipment, and can be equipped with a Convenience package that includes color-keyed outside rearview mirrors, cruise control, and variable intermittent wipers. OZ Rally models get a new multi-spoke 15-inch alloy wheel design, and can be equipped with a Sun & Sound package with a sunroof, a 315-watt Infinity audio system, and side-impact airbags. Both OZ Rally and Ralliart can be equipped with the aptly named Rally package, with a cargo net, a scuff plate, and a fancy exhaust tip. What that has to do with rallying, we don’t know.Advantages of the 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer: Impressive interior spaceComfortable seatsQuality materials and constructionExcellent brakesSmooth ride qua
