Whats New for the 2005 Land Rover Range Rover?
Land Rover is not resting on its laurels with the 2005 Range Rover. A new multi-media fiber-optic wiring harness has been installed to support the technology that Land Rover, and owners, installs on the Range Rover. A new VGA (video graphics display) screen replaces the old LCD unit, featuring more than three times better resolution and offering touch control. A new 4×4 driver interface graphically displays data such as vehicle settings and positions, angle of front wheels, suspension setting, and direction of travel. Also new is a DVD-based, voice-activated navigation system with GPS, dead reckoning, and map-matching capability to keep you from getting lost in the most remote locales. The standard harmon/kardon Logic7 surround sound has been upgraded for 2005, with voice control adding a new way to adjust settings.
