The all-new 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid is the first gas/electric hybrid SUV to hit the market. Offering the performance of a V6 but the fuel economy of a four-cylinder, the hybrid system enables this Escape to run on its gasoline engine, electric power, or a combination of both.
