Whats New for the 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT?
For 2005, the Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT is available with a new Displacement on Demand V8 engine, which shuts down half the cylinders under low-load conditions to conserve fuel. All TrailBlazer EXT’s receive a new front passenger airbag that includes a sensor to determine if the seat is occupied, and side curtain airbags are added to the list of available safety equipment. The front buckets are redesigned for greater comfort, and there’s a new AM/FM/CD player that incorporates MP3 playback capabilities. Exteriors receive additional chrome trim pieces to jazz up appearances. New option packages (called Sun, Sound and Entertainment, and Luxury) are also available.
