Suzuki expands into the midsize family sedan segment with the 2004 Verona. Three models are offered, each powered by a 155-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine matched to a four-speed automatic transmission: base S, midlevel LX and luxury EX. Prices for the Italdesign-styled Suzuki Verona begin in the mid-16s and top out right at $20,000. The S model includes power windows and locks, cruise control, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, CD player and a tilt steering wheel. Midlevel Verona LX models add automatic climate control, alloy wheels and antilock brakes. The 2004 Suzuki Verona EX is loaded with leather upholstery, a power driver’s seat, dual heated front seats, and a power sunroof. Traction control is optional on the EX model.
