What’s new at St. Lawrence?
International Economics (combined with French, Spanish, German, or Multi-Language) majors have been created and will begin the fall 2009 semester. Also new for the fall 2009 semester is the Rural Medicine Program (RMED). This is an early assurance program in which students learn of their admission to at Upstate Medical Center at the same time they are admitted to St. Lawrence University. The International and Intercultural Studies department has expanded their offerings to include a study abroad program in Thailand. Campus renovations continue as the sciences renovations enters Phase II. The completion of the Johnson Hall of Science was Phase I of the project. The arts continues with its own renovations as they move into Phase III. Phase II included the completion of the Newell Center for Arts Technology (NCAT) and various other facilities.
