Whats my chance at Tufts University through Early Decision?
You have a great resume for any college, but Tufts is up with the Ivies as far as numerical expectations. 2050 is an awesome SAT score, but Tufts will want to see at least 2100-2200. The 3.5 GPA rocks too, but, again, Tufts will want kids who have solid 4.0’s. However, they may see that you take a lot of Honors and AP classes and these more rigorous classes result in a GPA that is still very good but not perfect. They will probably love the fact that you are fluent in both languages, so use that to your advantage! You may have a better shot with E.D. in the sense that there may be less applicants, but generally the most qualified applicants or the people most determined to get into Tufts will apply E.D. so you may be in a very competitive pool…however if you don’t get in with E.D. they will still put you in with the Regular Decision pool and you could still end up getting in that way. Don’t stress about it and just apply E.D. You’ll find out way earlier one way or another and won’t b
