Whats more important: consistency in the middle of the season, or stepping up at the end?
Chasez: You know, I dunno. [Laughs] I always like to leave a lasting impression. I think the last thing that people see is usually the thing that’s closest in their minds. With that being said, I feel like Beat Freaks had some really memorable performances with the magic special that we did and when they were robots. They might also have a bit of an advantage because we haven’t seen a girl group win and this group, out of any girl group we’ve seen on the show so far, definitely deserves to win. TVGuide.com: Have you heard from fans about who they want to win? Chasez: It all depends on who you ask. I asked one person and he was like, “I love the Beat Freaks. I love the robot thing.” Then I spoke to somebody two days ago and he was like, “Dude, I wanna get ‘Quest’ tattooed on my chest!” [Laughs] I was like, “Uh …alright, sure.” … Quest Crew was freakishly good that last show. They were playing in the fourth quarter and throwing touchdowns. The hip-hop decathlon was amazing. TVGuide.c
