I love it and that is why I am here many moons and will be here many many moons to come. Japan is just another country with its ups and downs. It is what you make of it. I have lived and traveled in many parts of the world.Each place is special in its own way.

Being a woman of color and living there for 4 yrs, I didn’t experience any racism. They are WONDERFUL people! Extremely friendly. I didn’t go to school there (in the USAF) but I find they’re facinated with African-Amer men. I’ve seen several young kids wanting to get their picture taken with a guy I was hanging out with. He was average, didn’t look like anyone famous, or a basketball player. Beofre they get to know you, the guys might not be so welcoming but if you get to know them and are friendly, I’m sure you’ll be the BMOC!
