Whats less nightmarish for home office Internet service — cable or DSL?
That depends on the company offering each service where you are, and what level of service, and quality of support, they offer. Both technologies and provide good or bad results–ask your neighbors. DSL speed and quality depend on your distance from certain phone system equipment, whereas with cable modems, your location doesn’t affect speed, but “throttling” up and download speeds by company policy is the rule.
