Whats it like voicing a quiet character like Tabitha?
It’d almost be a challenge to keep such a soft speech pattern. JA: Quiet characters are a challenge. For my younger range, my voice is generally more on the soft/delicate side when voicing characters, so the true challenge comes in when there are a lot of other sounds in the background. Being loud enough to be heard over explosions and dramatic music, but still soft enough to not break character is tough. This is especially so, because even when she’s trying to be heard, she isn’t yelling. I am not the worlds best with projection (it is what I am still working hard to do better with), but you really get practice when voicing characters like Tabitha.
