Whats it like to be interviewed by Kevin Newman?
A. Stephen Cooke [30] one year hosted a Christmas Movie Festival in Halifax, showing films such as Mystery Science Theater 3000 favorites “Santa Claus Conquers The Martians” and the Mexican “Santa Claus” (the original non-MST3K’d film); for his efforts, Newman interviewed Cooke for CBC’s “Midday.” Cooke reports that he enjoyed the experience, describing Newman as a good interviewer with a relaxed style; and he seemed a rather nice guy. Several long-lost friends of Cooke’s happened to see the piece and were able to get reacquainted, as well. Thus we can conclude that being interviewed by Kevin Newman is a powerful force for the improvement of mankind.
