This unique facility houses what is probably the world’s most extensive range of equipment and resources dedicated to the research and application of Virtual Environments, along with leading researchers in this domain. These are complemented by the centre’s balanced approach which integrates world class research and nationally recognised commercial enterprise, to ensure that post-graduate students have access to highly advanced VR technology for industrially-relevant research at the cutting-edge of science. We are based at the heart of an attractive greenfield city campus in the centre of Salford, about a mile and a half from Manchester city centre, where you can enjoy the culture and nightlife you’d expect to find in a multicultural cosmopolitan city with a large student population.
