It’s humbling when he takes his shirt off. He goes to the gym and he sends me pictures of himself to rub it in. Did you do much research for the role? We all watched surgeries, but I can’t stand going into hospitals. It’s the smell, the lighting, and when you go to do the research, there are sick people everywhere and you’re like, “Oh, my God”. It’s so sad because people have a huge crisis moment in their lives in these hospital rooms. You were best known in 80s movies as the awkward teenager who got the girl against the odds. I started at 17 and went from movie to movie. I had no life experience other than being on a movie set. Success came very quickly and it was taken away very quickly.
