My family members love him.” What does Coach Patterson mean to you? “He’s a firm coach, and I believe in his coaching philosophy because it grows you from a boy to a man. I can honestly say that I have become a man here at TCU under Coach Patterson. His philosophy and style are fantastic. We work extremely hard. Coach Patterson said that you choose to be different when you come to TCU. He’s different, our program is different and I am a different man because of it.” What would you say to people who are considering attending TCU? “You are going to be part of a great small-knit community. Everybody knows each other, athletes and non-athletes. It is the type of community where everyone wants to be involved. Our athletics program, from football to golf to baseball, is tremendous.
