Whats it like being gay in Durham?
Durham is a very educated and liberal town in the heart of the South. There are gay bars and clubs in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. There’s a laid-back attitude that permeates the whole city. FuquaPride also interacts frequently with other LGBT students in the area, including undergraduates at Duke University, graduate and professional programs at Duke, and graduate programs at UNC in Chapel Hill.
