Whats it like attending ESPN events with the likes of Jordan and other famous athletes?
I only experienced that at the 1999 ESPY Awards. I don’t really follow any team sports, so I am not star-struck. I didn’t get to meet Jordan… Is the 900 as big as the hype? It was big for me, but I’m sure there are many skaters that couldn’t care less about it. I had been thinking about it for 13 years and actively trying it for the last 5 years. I had never pursued a trick for so long without pulling it. It was amazing to finally make it after years of injuries and frustration. it just happened to be at the X-Games. Are there any other tricks being done that are actually more difficult than the 900? That depends on your definition of difficult. You could take many of Rodney’s tricks and say they are harder than anything because nobody else can do them. I think that some of the stuff that Bob has done on vert is virtually impossible.
