Whats it been like filming the pregnancy storyline?
It was quite surreal playing being pregnant and giving birth three weeks before I was due to give birth in real life. It’s a great story, there is a happy outcome, but there is drama attached to it of course, otherwise it wouldn’t be entertaining. Chrissie goes into early labour at 34 weeks. No one knows who the father is and as the episode unfolds, her real father discovers who the dad is and obviously it’s Sacha. He brings his dreadful children in to meet Chrissie and his dreadful mother, and it makes it a very fun episode. Chrissie just wants to quietly sneak away with her beautiful new baby boy. Sacha is quite annoying. Is Chrissie tempted to lie to him and tell him the baby’s not his? She didn’t think about that. She truly believed that she wouldn’t see him again and that perhaps he was just a sperm donor, but she becomes quite open to him being part of the baby’s life.
