What’s involved in applying for a Psych-Summer internship?
(1) You should begin as soon as possible to take the initiative to gather information about possible research opportunities, and to talk with potential faculty mentors with whom you might like to work. (2) By Thursday, Feb 19th you need to submit the Intent-to-Apply Form indicating your area of interest and other background information. You must also include an informal transcript. (3) Continue your explorations, read background papers related to the research you are interested in, and seek out conversations with faculty and other researchers. If you need guidance on how to investigate and pursue research opportunities, come sign up for a consultation with the Psych-Summer faculty advisor, Prof. Anne Fernald (Room 202 – signup sheet by the door!). (4) By Tuesday, March 10 at 5pm, you need to prepare and submit the Psych-Summer Application Form, which you will also find on the website. If you have found a suitable internship by that time, then describe what you have negotiated with your
