Whats in store for the Ottawa Senators?
The Ottawa Senators are the best team with the worst record since January, 2008, when they played the Detroit Red Wings for the overall lead in the NHL standings, and they won. Since that victory, they have the third worst record in all of the NHL. The “win and you’re in” philosophy of Coach John Paddock did not ingrain any sense of confidence in their goal-tending, and as a result they started playing more individual games. When playing against other skill-based teams, the Senators do a rather good job, but when faced with a big, hard-hitting team, they seem to disintegrate.
