Whats hotlinking and why don you want people doing it?

A hotlink is a direct link to an image on someone else’s web server.I don’t want people doing it because it eats up my bandwidth, which makes the site more expensive to run. You can still use the images, just please upload them to your own server or image hosting place such as ImageShack.us, Photobucket.com or TinyPic.com.
