Whats happening with funding for EYP salary enhancement?
Please note qualified EYP’s will now be paid via the single funding formula from Sept 2010, based on 15 hours a week. Due to the complexity of the process it will not be implemented until September. If you have more that one EYP and you are on Somerset’s list of settings in an area of deprevation you will be funded for two EYP’s. They are still working on the figures and unfortunately we have no further information at this stage. This is not being administered by the GLF team and if you have any queries regarding the EYP up lift, please contact Keir Mitton, Information Officer, Somerset Family Information Service, email: sfis@somerset.gov.uk Periodically we may also require a report from you on how the impact of your work is enhancing the setting.
