Whats happening to NCT, parents?
Having lived more than 80 years, I could see the depression coming way before it did. Now I hope I am wrong, but if this and probably other news media continue to irresponsibly stir up readers, I see revolution. The front page headlines on Sept. 4, about parents objecting to their children’s exposure to a speech from our president (“Some parents don’t want kids to hear Obama speech”) and the one about the health plan protesters in Oceanside (“Large crowd gathers to protest heath care proposal”), made me wonder what’s happening, first to this newspaper, which through all its transitions used to be a family, nonpartisan paper without a bias, and second to parents, sending an irresponsible message to their children about authority. As to those who object to the health plan without actually knowing what’s in it based on biased news reports using scare tactics, I wonder what is the intelligence of the majority of those who gathered at the pier. I can’t understand those who blame Barack Obam
