It looks like Intel’s going to keep the performance gap between Celeron and P2/P3 through the mobile line. The entire Celeron line from the 266 will continue to do service well into 2000. September will see the introduction of the 433 and 466MHz Celerons (which are currently the fastest flavors available for desktops), and the Pentium II will lose any processors under 300MHz.
