• In preparation for the 24 hour news channel, ABC1 HD on channel 20 has become a direct simulcast of ABC1 NSW standard definition – that is, all programs will be up-converted from SD, the ABC1 watermark has replaced the HD watermark and NSW Stateline will be broadcast on Friday evenings instead of the composite 7:30 Report program. The next change that will occur when ABC News 24 launches, at which time the ABC1 HD channel 20 will be taken off air.
