Whats going to happen to the land between Coldharbour Way and the playing fields?

0

This land belongs to AVDC and has been set aside as one of a number of possible routes for an Aylesbury bypass. These plans remain on the books regardless of the existance of Fairford Leys. Since Coldharbour Way has become a type of bypass, its would seem unlikely that another road would be constructed so close to it. According to information we’ve received from Bucks County Council, any decision on when the work starts (if it ever does) will not be made until at least 2015. However, given the tendancy for builders to squeeze in as many houses as they can on any land which becomes available, it remains to be seen if this land will remain undeveloped for long even if a by-pass is not built.
