WASHINGTON – A stowaway has been detained at Dulles International Airport (web | news) after trying to enter the country illegally, airport authorities say. Authorities at Dulles Airport say a man was discovered in the baggage area of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 500 shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday. The 37-year-old man from Ethiopia spent 17 hours on the plane and was discovered by a baggage personnel who saw the man’s arm sticking out from behind a piece of luggage, according to airport authorities. He was conscious but dehydrated and exhausted when located, and was taken to Reston Hospital for an evaluation.
