Whats going on with WMR?
The question right now should be “What is not going on at WMR?” Everyone at WMR is very anxious for the racing season to start, but before it can start, there is a lot of work to be done. Just to catch everyone up, we will flash back to November and lead up to today. In November, the team sat down and designed a plan on what we wanted to accomplish over the winter and for the upcoming season. Our first goal was to enhance our sponsorship program. We have worked very hard on this program and have been successful. Two new sponsors, Campbellsville Overhead Door and 99.9 WVLC The Big Dawg have come aboard our team. We are very excited to have them as a part of the WMR team. We are currently in the process of working with some other companies, but have not yet sealed any deals. In December, we were thinking of finding a new place to call home for the car. It’s home (The Race Shop) was currently at Dennis and Billy Selby’s shop in Russell County.
