Whats Going on in Anglicanism?
A lot of exciting things have been happening in North American Anglicanism recently. Not only is St.Peter’s well on it’s way toward building a new Church home at Taproots, but a new Anglican Province is being built in North America and St. Peter’s is part of it! On June 22, more than 900 faithful met in Bedford, Texas for the four day Inaugural Provincial Assembly of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). At the Assembly, the North American province was constituted and The Most Reverend Robert Duncan of Pittsburgh was enthroned as the first Archbishop and Primate of the ACNA.The new province represents over 100,000 Anglican Christians in the United States and Canada who are dedicated to historic, faithful, orthodox Christianity.
