Whats Etta James prob with Beyoncé?
I think she’s pissed off because first of all, she played Etta as a part, a role in a movie. Etta James is still alive and she needed someone to play her role as her when she was young so they got Beyonce. Yes, she’s talented and beautiful but I think her fur got rubbed the wrong way when they asked Beyonce to sing “At Last” for the prez. Hello, Etta is still alive and lived thru the terrible tragedies of racism and I guess she took it the wrong way when she saw Beyonce out there singing HER song. Instead of letting it be a tribute for herself and letting the public see Etta James inside of Beyonce she chose to believe that she was overlooked in the whole situation. She tried to play it off as a joke but everybody knows she’s hurt. I guess I would be hurt also but America is just that way. It’s all about entertainment value. That was a little dirty. They should have had Etta there and given her a tribute or something; but I totally understand her hurt and frustration. Hello! She is ali
