Whats different about the Science courses from when I took them years ago?
That’s an interesting question. The main difference in the courses your student will be taking versus the courses you may have taken while you were in school is the emphasis on a thorough understanding and use of the information and not just memorization. We start with an idea, vocabulary, and descriptions, but then we put these ideas into relevance – to make connections between the other concepts they’ve previously learned and also the world around them. This is a big reason why students need to keep up with their studies – they’ll see the topics again later in the year.
