Whats different about shooting a celebrity wedding?
A. I think almost everything is different about it. For one thing the person you’re looking through the lens at is someone you’re used to seeing onscreen or in newspapers and magazines, so it’s difficult to see if you’re shooting a great picture or just training your eye on a face that has inherent great qualities, that comes with a lot of movie references or whatever. Q. What about the guests? A. When you’re at the Smith-Brown wedding, you’re looking to cover who’s there, the periphery of the wedding. At this wedding the periphery was immensely interesting and very celebrity filled. Meg Ryan. Russell Crowe, who although they were seated near each other were apparently there as a couple. Every time I would train my camera on her she would do the hair flip, turn around and disappear, so there was that element to the wedding. The normal thing is: Take me! Take me!
