Whats Cooking in Parent-Child?

For the past few weeks, a group of parents and children have gathered together on Tuesdays from 11:30AM-1:00PM to cook and eat lunch together. In our cooking class, we have feasted on many culinary delights including pizza (both regular and gluten free), harvest soup, popovers, apple-cranberry sauce, green pasta and focaccia. We have fun making all of the food from scratch, then sitting down together and eating what we prepared. To top it off, the teacher (yours truly) does all of the shopping and cleans the dishes! Seasonal Songs & Crafts Beginning in January, we will be offering a new class on Mondays from 11:15AM-NOON where we will make simple seasonal crafts together, sing some songs and hear a story. This winter we will be making bird feeders, snow scenes, felt gnomes and, of course, there will be some special things for Valentine’s Day.
