What’s causing the sewage smell coming from bathroom sink in the spring?

Our only bathroom is on the second floor of the house, which we use daily. Our house does not have a basement. Ever since we put the bathroom in two years ago, any time our ground is heavily water saturated (mostly in the spring), we get a raw sewage smell coming up through the bathroom sink. It’s the worst under the sink, in the cabinet. We have rural water and a septic tank. The drain pipe under the sink (where the trap is) sweats an awful lot, which has gotten things that touch it moldy. We bleach all those things down, but the problem continues. We have cleaned and dried everything off and ran water to see if maybe it was leaking, but it isn’t, it’s just sweating. We do not have a bathroom fan, unfortunately, and the space is a little too small to put in a dehumidifier. 1) what is causing this smell and 2) how can we rid the smell? I’ve dumped vinegar down the drain a couple of days, which helps tremendously, but I’d like a more permanent fix. Thanks! Thanks for responding so quick
