Whats causing the pain in my legs that wake me up at night?
It sounds like you have restless legs syndrome. Basically a nervous system disorder that affects the legs. It’s actually a medical condition. I have the same problem at night sometimes. “The sensations are difficult to describe: they are not painful, but an uncomfortable, “itchy,” “pins and needles,” or “creepy crawly” feeling deep in the legs. The sensations are usually worse at rest, especially when lying in bed.” http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/guide/restless-legs-syndrome-rls It’s also considered a sleep disorder for obvious reasons. The disorder is often unrecognized or misdiagnosed. From what I’ve heard, about 10% of the population has this disorder. Many don’t realize it until it gets worse in later stages of their lives. However, restless leg syndrome can quite often be treated successfully. That’s where my knowledge stops. Hopefully this gives you a good start on your research. Try searching credible sources or talk to your doctor. But I wouldn’t be too worried about it!
