Whats Britney Spears doing on front page of St. Petersburg Times?
Britney Spears on the front page above the fold! I remember when you were a serious newspaper. I have no problem putting her in the Entertainment section and I understand that her activities are appealing to a segment of your readership but it seems totally inappropriate that she supercedes all of the other news of the day. Maybe the decrease in your circulation reflects more than the growth of the Internet, poor management, the economy and reduced literacy. A return to sound objective editorial policies and good use of your talented writers might prove beneficial to the circulation department. George Edw.
