Whats behind the Middle East hating the West and 9-11?
Believe it or not, your question concerning why terrorist hate the West is quite simply. The one world answer is ‘imperialism’. I glanced over the other answers to this question and find it very distressing that ppl either are so uneducated on history or that they have absolutely no sense of the actions their own country commits on a daily basis throughout the world. Western imperialism over the Middle East started over 100 years ago. It can be seen with British, Foreign Legions and goes back to the biased establishment of the United Nations by Western States in the late 1940s. An important point to keep in mind also is that it was the British that were the most powerful force in the world in reference to imperialistic manipulation but this seemed to transfer to the USA as the USA became more and more powerful globally.
