Whats average age of people playing the sims 2?
I think this would be impossible to determine. I’m most certainly not a kid and love the game. I know some doctors, nurses, molecular scientists and engineers that play the game. Some are retired and some are at the peak of their careers. Lots of moms love the game too. Many of the program writers are not kids but love the game and come up with the crazy humor in the game. (woohoo hammock?! ha!). I think people get tripped up by the fact that the game is rated to be okay for teens. This is like a movie rating… If a game is rated PG 13 or whatever, it is just a suggestion that ages below 13 should have parental guidance. This is exactly what the Teen ESRB is about. So that the game is not going to be advertised in a Sesame Street magazine since the age is too young. The cost of advertising for games is very expensive, and designing games can be a nightmare of financial losses. So ads will most likely focus on and target a population that is the most visible buyer. Often these are kids
