In many districts, an IPM coordinator is equivalent to the school district designee (see 1-3 and 1-4). The Healthy Schools Act requires the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) to establish a train-the-trainer program for IPM coordinators (see 6-1). School districts may choose to make the IPM coordinator the school district designee to carry out the district’s IPM program.
