Dynamic IP address :
If you reset your modem and if the IP address changes ,then it is Dynamic IP address.Dynamic IP address is suitable for general internet usage.
Static IP address :
If you reset the modem and if the IP address does not change and remains same for all attempt then the IP is Static .Static IP or Dedicated IP address is suitable for website.It helps to get more traffic.
