A. An invigilator is an exam supervisor. Your invigilator is responsible for making sure you sit the exam in university conditions. If you are required to arrange an invigilator, forms will be supplied by the university with your study materials. Commercial services are available, however you may choose to find an invigilator elsewhere, for example a librarian, teacher, police officer or minister of religion. Once you have nominated an invigilator, they will be sent everything needed to conduct the exam. Students studying outside Australia may have different arrangements concerning invigilation. Please read information from the university carefully. In China, students studying through universities that do not nominate a designated examination centre for their region, must sit their examinations at the nearest British Council Office.
