Whats an interesting book about the history of manned space flight?
I found “Space”, by James Michener, to be very good, but Michener’s a hard read sometimes. The book, in part, is about the early days of NASA and the lives of the astronauts. While it IS historical fiction, overall, it should give you a feel for the beginnings of the U.S. manned space flight program.
