Whats an example of a “leitmotif”?
A leitmotif is a piece of music that is used to identify a character, an object or a place. Epic pictures tend to use them to make things easier for people to follow. The Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter and Star Wars movies all use them. In the Lord of the Ring movies, the Ring, the locales and the characters all have their own themes.
