Whats an Avatar?
Avatars are the images that show up on the left beside your posted messages. It can be a picture or cartoon or some other graphic. Keep it appropriate. If you use something that is out of line, we’ll let you know. Get real offensive and I’ll erase your account, all your posts, ban you forever and kick your dog. Ok, Ok, I won’t kick your dog, but he gets banned too. First, get your picture or whatever you’re going to use. Normally it will be on your own computer. Take a few minutes and dress it up. Crop out the unnecessary parts of the picture. Now shrink it. The image can’t be more than 100 pixels wide or 120 pixels high. You can use the Paint program that came with Windows to crop and re-size. Just be careful not to overwrite your original picture! Now, to get your avatar on the board login to the bulletin board. Click on User Control Panel at the top right of the screen.
