Whats all that with the “real” ghost appearances in the Ring series?
There are two accounts of supposedly actual ghostly goings-on, one in Ringu, one in Ringu 2. The second account, regarding spirit sounds on the soundtrack of Ring 2 in the cave scene, is totally discredited and was a practical joke among the cast. However, the first account, concerning a ghostly face appearing reflected in the window in the balcony scene with Asakawa Reiko, is allegedly true. Watch the scene in slow-mo for yourself, and you will indeed see a face reflected there, which is not Reiko’s.
