Whats a web proxy server?
A web proxy server is a computer network or an application program which executes requests from an internet user to gain access to a different destination server for program files or a web page. In most cases this is provided as an option to users by Internet Service Providers. If the user opts in, any request made by him or her from a destination server is handled by the web proxy server which transfers the requested resources to the user from the destination server. This way, the user is not directly connected to the destination server.
