Whats a way to prevent a child from harming themselves or others without using painful restraint techniques?
If you are speaking about holding techniques restraining when done properly, should not be painful to the child unless he or she is already injured. If a child is really out of control that and putting the child in a padded room is the only way I can think of to keep him or her safe. Problem is there aren’t a lot of places that have padded rooms. Even if you put a child naked into an empty room there are ways they can injure themselves. BTW I say naked because you can literally kill yourself with your clothing.
